Should I get a beta fish? I used to have one when I was little, and I loved him. His name was Storm... I miss him so much. *sighzerss*

betta fish! they're gorgeous. we've had... half a dozen of uhm, & the girls are just as pretty as the boys. my current one is ruby, a red girl. ^.^ just make sure not to house them together!!! hamster are stinky.
oh, oh and make sure the fish gets a lidded tank, 2+ gallons, & a heat source [a lighted tank should be okay]
don't get walmart bettas either O.o

uhh, they're just as bad. they stack the cups so they can't get air [bettas take little "sips" of air to survive]. if you can, go to a more reliable place!

hmm.. actually, all our bettas have been walmarts/petcos... but usually, their bettas are in bad condition... ie dead/fin rot/dropsy/bloated/constipated/underfed just plain bad.
umm, i dunno where you're located, but here we have a place called aquarium adventure and a place called rainbow pets....

Not to diss fish *glub glub*, but I think a hamster would be better because fish just swim, but hamsters you can actually play with.

I used to have a blue and gold beta fish named Angel. And what was hilarious was that she had a lot of extras come out of her body (If you know what I mean )

But be careful! Don't ever put 2 beta fish in the same tank together. You probably already knew that though.

We had ours on January 27, and I got 4th place. I was so upset because I almost became a replacement if one was sick!
I got out on the word Bygones, I spelled it bigons

Get a betta! But don't get it from walmart....

Petsmart or a aquarium store is the best place to get one. Don't put them together or they will kill eachother
When you are choosing it check it over well for fin rot/ torn fins, dropsy, ich, etc. Oh, and by the way, the females are the ones with the short tails, and the males have the long, fancy tails.
